sosconf Committee: We are pleased to announce that UpCloud agreed to sponsor sosconf to support students open source activities from earlier 2019. UpCloud is a great cloud infrastructure company from Europe, it will provide computing resource to sosconf to help sosconf building open services, sosconf will use the great resource to host websites, open source coordination services for its contributors and audiences. We sosconf would like to thank UpCloud very much.

UpCloud was formed 2011 by a group of like-minded thinkers who saw a clear opportunity to defy mediocrity: to become a cloud infrastructure company that would outperform every existing company on the market.

sosconf is the first non-profit global open source technology summit organized by students, with students and for students. We encourage students to know open source, learn about open source, join open source and contribute to open source.

We sincerely hope that through the conference and its various events, students can gain experience and pleasure in their open source adventures. The conference is held annually in different cities in different countries and most of the participants, including speakers, organizers, volunteers and attendees are students (ranging from middle school students to graduate and doctoral students). Speaker and volunteer positions are open to students only.
